Aquatic Fungal Allies (AFA)
Our innovative fungal remediation project AFA, leverages the natural abilities of an aquatic parasitic fungi to address the pressing issues of Red Tide and blue-green algae. By breaking down the long strands of Red Tide into smaller, consumable bits, this approach not only aids in controlling the harmful algal blooms but also provides an additional food source for fish. This pioneering project is specifically targeting the Red Tide challenges in Florida, promising a more sustainable and eco-friendly solution to this environmental concern.
